Ministry of water and Environment/Uganda Government: Training of farmers in irrigated agronomy, soil and land improvement for the irrigation schemes:
lot 3: Doho II in Butaleja district from 2019 to 2022;
Assessed the prevailing agronomic condition within the scheme and prepared a work plan on how to solve the existing challenges in the scheme;
Responsible for the increase in agriculture production;
Advised the farmers on the planning inputs, agronomic practices;
Responsible for advising the farmers on the new improved seed varieties of the crops within the scheme;
Controlled the crop pests and diseases within the irrigation scheme;
Responsible for solving the soil fertility challenges within the scheme;
Carry out hands-on training and experimentation of all the new ideas being proposed to the farmers.
